CLASS DESCRIPTION Tiny & Tumble Tots are a series of fun-filled, high-energy classes designed to introduce young children 3 to 6 years of age to the exciting world of Artistic Gymnastics! The classes aim to develop core gymnastics elements in a safe and fun environment. The focus of this series of classes is on developing coordination, strength, flexibility, and balance and building core requirements for the introduction of different gymnastics skills such as rolls, handstands, cartwheels, and balance beam work. The class will also include games and activities that promote teamwork, social skills, and confidence-building. This is an independent class and children will work with the instructor independently within their group, parents are welcome to observe the class from the designated viewing area. WHAT TO WEAR/ BRING Children should wear comfortable clothing that allow for unrestricted movement (a gymnastics leotard is encouraged; athletic shorts or leggings can be worn over the leotard). It is recommended to do the class barefoot as it allows for better traction on the equipment (avoid tights as they can be slippery). Children should bring a water bottle. TRIAL CLASS If your child is new to our academy, we recommend signing up for a trial class before making a full-term booking. Our trial classes provide an opportunity for your child to experience the program, meet our coaches, and interact with other students prior to making a commitment to the term. The cost of a Trial session with the Tiny/ Tumble Tots group is 95AED per child (trials are limited to one session per new student). The Foundation 7+ Artistic Gymnastics class, focuses on building a strong foundation of core Artistic Gymnastics skills for children ages 7 and over. We prioritize proper form and technique, ensuring that each child develops the correct muscle memory and alignment. We also work on strength and flexibility training to help children progress in their gymnastics abilities. The class starts with a group warm up, after which students are divided into groups to work on different stations/ gymnastics apparatus on a rotational basis. This is a great class for children looking to improve their skills and have a great time doing it! Our acrobatics/ trampolining class focuses on developing body and aerial awareness to get children ages 7+ prepared to perform a variety of acrobatic tricks. The class utilizes the trampoline, tumble track, air-track, spring floor and foam pits. This is a great class for complete beginners as well as dancers and ex-gymnasts who want to add to their skill repertoire.
